Amy has over 10 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, special education teacher, and private tutor. She has worked in many different settings: early intervention, schools, and clinics, including the American Institute for Stuttering.
Amy is a New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and a certified Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) with a bilingual (English/Spanish) extension. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Amy completed a BA in Psychology at Wesleyan University and an MA in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Amy creates a fun and motivating learning environment when working with clients. She feels that true change occurs only when she has earned a client’s trust!
